Exploration Results Raft Property; New Base Metal Anomaly Discovered

December 7, 2011

Newmac Resources Inc. (“Newmac” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: NER) is pleased to announce that it has completed 34 km of magnetometer and VLF-EM geophysical surveying and over 52 km of IP geophysics on the Raft Property located approximately 35 km northeast of Clearwater, British Columbia.   Newmac also completed a 1659 soil sampling program on the same grid, which adjoins the grid which was completed in 2010.

Coincident IP and gold soil anomalies were discovered on the 2011 grid and 2010 grid which may be indicative of intrusive gold mineralization.   They consisted of a 200 m IP anomaly with 2.2 ppb to 948.9 ppb gold and another 200 m anomaly of 0.9 ppb to 23.5 ppb gold.  A base metal soil anomaly was also discovered which has coincident magnetometer and VLF-EM anomalies in the northern portion of the surveyed area.  This anomaly corresponds to a topographic high which is easily accessible by building a short trail to it off the main logging road which services this part of the Raft Property.  The anomaly consists of 200m of 7.1 ppm to 459.3 ppm copper, 7.8 ppm to 69.4 ppm lead, 17 ppm to 914 ppm zinc and 4.1 ppm to 286.2 ppm nickel.  The base metal soil anomaly may be indicative of a volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit.

The base metal soil anomaly is a new target for this portion of the Raft Property where the work has been completed in 2010 and 2011.

The Company is currently evaluating these new targets, and how to best test them in the future.
