Tungsten and Molybdenum Mineralized Area Increases at Crazy Fox

August 2, 2007

Newmac Resources Inc. (TSX-V: NER) is pleased to announce results from three holes drilled on the company’s Crazy Fox tungsten-molybdenum project, which is ideally located 20 kilometres north-northwest of the village of Little Fort in Southern British Columbia, 100 km north of  Kamloops  BC.

Five diamond drill holes were drilled on the Crazy Fox property in the latest drill program.  Diamond drill hole 07-34, was collared to test data suggesting proximity to mineralization underlying the thrust. The mineralization in this hole is getting better to depth and the drill hole will need to be deepened with a different drill.  Hole 34 demonstrates the extent and potential for more mineralization to the southwest and shows the strength of mineralization in this area. It also shows that our modeling of the lower thrust sheet is consistent so far with what we see in the upper thrust sheet..  Diamond drill hole 07-35 was collared 735 m North of 07-34  in the same  section, 130 m to the west of 06-29 and 06-12.  Diamond Drill Hole 07-36 never reached bedrock and was abandoned.  However the drill was moved slightly and 07-37 was completed.  Hole 07-37 is on a new section 160 m east of 06-19.  Diamond Drill hole 07-38 was not completed because of timing issues.  Both Diamond drill holes 07-34 and 07-38, are planned to be deepened in the next drill program.

Mineralization from surface to depths of 300 m have been encountered now over an area of  450m x 750m . This mineralized area to date has been tested by a total of 38 diamond drill holes totalling approximately 8,000m  (28000 ft).  Within these limits there is potential for a deposit size in the order of 275,000,000 tonnes to 300,000,000 tonnes.   Limits of the mineralization have not been reached and the deposit is considered 'open' to the North, West and South.  As the limits of mineralization are probed and better understood, this potential may increase substantially. This potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature because there has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource, it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the discovery of a mineral resource.

An aggressive program of diamond drilling encompassing a further 8,000m of drilling is planned for late summer and fall of 2007. The program will test the extent of mineralization and limits of the host intrusive granite.

A summary of Drill Results follow.  Holes 1-33 were completed in 2006, and have been previously reported. Holes 34 to 38 are new holes completed during the recent drilling program and are presented here for the first time.

Tungsten prices have surged in the past Three years from US$60 to the current level of US$240 per MTU of APT.  A Metric Tonne Unit ("MTU") is equal to ten kilograms of unit per metric tonne. (1%) Tungsten prices are generally quoted as US dollars per MTU of Ammonium Paratungstate ("APT") an intermediate product in the production of tungsten metal for which price quotes are generally available. One metric tonne = 1000 Kg, therefore TUNGSTATE, (WO3), is valued at around US$24.00 per Kg ($11/lb). For example, rock grading 0.200 % W, would contain 2.52 kg of Tungstate(WO3).  Molybdenum is currently trading at a price of around US$ 77 per Kg. of Mo ($35/lb) but is often grade quoted as per cent MoS2.

Assays were performed by Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. of Vancouver, B.C., using ICP-mass spectrometry methods.

Another Diamond drill program was completed on the Bluff property, where 12 diamond drill holes (1,600 metres) were completed.  Fractures of impressive mineralization were encountered, but none of the holes returned any economic grades as the fractures were not numerous enough .  The company is currently reviewing all the data from this drill program and previous field work.

A series of trenches have been completed on the Chilanko property. The trenches encountered deeper overburden than expected and were unable to reach bedrock over several of the geophysical anomalies revealed by an earlier program conducted this year.  Bed rock encountered by the trenching program, in areas peripheral to the anomalies, exhibited hydrothermal alteration and effects consistent with the outer zones of porphyry copper systems.
A follow up drill program is currently being planned.
